Swollen arms are generally the result of an inflammatory process or lymphatic or venous stasis.

Swelling of phlogistic origin is circumscribed. In this case, the edema is often associated with other signs of inflammation, such as redness, heat and pain.
This reaction can be caused by infections, insect bites, trauma, burns, or frostbite.
Swollen arms can also be caused by allergic reactions, problems with blood or lymph circulation, but other causes can be: lymphagitis, phlebitis, kidney failure, arthritis, dermatomyositis.

The best remedy obviously depends on the underlying cause. It may be necessary to stop taking certain medications or, on the contrary, start a drug therapy.

Other times, however, Osteopathy can be very useful.
